I dedicate a certain number of hours for those in financial hardship who may need a lower fee. If you feel you cannot meet my current rate and you do not have insurance, please do let me know and we can discuss options.
Insurance:
We do not work directly with insurance providers. If you are seeking insurance reimbursement, please contact your provider directly to gather information on out of network services. We will provide a monthly superbill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement directly to you.
CLINICAL SUPERVISION AND CONSULTATION
I provide clinical supervision to associates in clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, and professional clinical counseling. There are two arrangements under which I will supervise:
the associate is working within my practice and according to the laws and limitations set forth by the BBS;
the associate is working within an agency/entity and the agency/entity is seeking to contract with me to provide supervision to the associate(s) under the laws and limitations set forth by the BBS.
I do not accept payment for services directly from any unlicensed practitioner.
I also provide consultation to licensed practitioners.
THE "NO SURPRISES ACT" AND YOUR RIGHT TO A GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE FOR SERVICES
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or those who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call the therapist directly for more information.
